Welcome to CUDOS @ MQ
The Centre for Ultrahigh bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS) is an ARC funded Centre of Excellence collaboration combining the established expertise of researchers at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, University of Technology Sydney, Australian National University, Swinburne University of Technology, RMIT University and Monash University.
CUDOS is playing a pivotal role in demonstrating ground-breaking developments in ultrafast signal processors, quantum photonic processors, and integrated photonic devices for the mid infrared.
Co-founders Prof. Michael Withford & Dr Simon Gross launch Modular Photonics; a venture committed to manufacturing 3D waveguide devices for optical telecommunications (2015)
Integrated astrophotonic chips undergo successful 'on sky' telescope tests at Coonabarabran, NSW and Subaru, Hawaii.
Prof Michael Withford elected to the newest class of OSA Fellow Members for his significant contributions to the advancement of optics and photonics.
CUDOS @ MQ congratulates its recent graduates on their new jobs: Dr Izuśka Spaleniak (UK), Dr Yuwen Duan (China), Dr Jocelyn Star (China) & Geraldine Mariën (EU)
