My name is Tiffany, I’m 15 years old. I was born in Singapore and moved to Sydney when I was six. I spend my free time reading, writing, looking at slam poetry, listening to music and blogging.
I joined the Young Storytellers’ Program because I saw it as an opportunity to develop my creative writing skills and to challenge myself. However, the theme of nature had me stumped. Having had my early childhood in Singapore, I loved city life and although I often explored nature in Australia with my family, I never felt a strong connection with it. Sometimes it left me awed or inspired, but the feeling never lasted long. Which left me the question of not just how to inspire the younger generation back to nature but also how will I inspire myself back to nature? After all, I am a part of the younger generation.
